So, what is Holistic Psychotherapy anyways?

Let’s break it down.

‘Holistic,’ meaning emphasis on the whole and the interdependence of its parts.
’Psycho’ is a Greek word ‘psykhē’ meaning "mind, mental; spirit, unconscious, the soul, spirit.”
‘Therapy’ in Greek is ‘therapeuein’ meaning, "to cure, treat medically," literally "attend, do service, take care of"

“Holistic” is the belief that the parts of something are interconnected and can be explained and/or treated only by reference to the whole. Holistic Psychotherapy is similar to Somatic therapy in that it aims to access mind and body. The difference is that holistic psychotherapy also supports connection to the spirit (higher power and inner power). This means whatever external or internal power you subscribe meaning to.

Whatever energy source you can pull from always counts in healing.

My goal is to help you (mind, body, spirit) with a customized, eclectic approach. I offer a tool box of traditional and alternative healing modalities. Then we work together to find an approach tailored to your needs, interests, and beliefs. Holistic psychotherapy aims to help you access your mind and emotions but, also, your body, to release trapped emotional energy causing distress. My goals is always to guide clients through complicated emotions and body experiences.

The ultimate goal is to help activate your own innate inner healing wisdom and the body's natural instinct to heal.
My job is to be the experienced tour guide on your journey to self-healing.

Only you know the way.

Healing is Possible.
